Who is Kuusoogai?
Kuusoogai (空想街雑貨店) is a Japanese illustrator duo based in Tokyo, founded by two sisters in 2016. Together they create warm, retro-toned watercolor illustrations inspired by an imaginary street — a whimsical world where stars rain down and fish drift through the sky. Their dreamlike yet nostalgic artwork has been loved by fans across Japan, and they run their own atelier shop in Kichijoji, Tokyo.
